CNL visit and Pride Month

CritLab has had a couple of good outings recently, which have yet to appear here! To kick of Pride Month, a few of us went to the pride flag raising event on campus. This was the first time Queen’s had an event to mark the start of Pride Month with a flag raising, and it was well attended!

Dr. Kauffman also visited the Canadian Nuclear Laboratories (CNL) to learn about their research interests in Cybersecurity. He got to experience setting off radiation detectors during a tour! It was rainy, and apparently the detectors are so sensitive that they will detect radon that has been captured in puddles and subsequently stepped in.
