Wheelchair Curling and Black Histories and Futures Month
CritLab has had a couple of good group outings recently, which have yet to appear here! As part of Black Histories and Futures Month, we went as a group to the exhibit at Kingston City Hall: A History Exposed: The Enslavement of Black People in Canada, a travelling exhibition created by the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21 in Halifax.
We also got together for just some social time, eating pizza and watching Canada compete at the Paralympics in Wheelchair Curling. The game was very exciting, with Canada taking an early lead and barely hanging onto it as Italy nearly came back in the 10th end. They had to get out a measurement device and Canada won by just a few millimeters!
